How we walk Rover all over
Meet and Greet
To ensure the best care, we will meet you and your dog for a free meet and greet. At this meet and greet, you’ll be able to tell us everything we should know about your dog so he can have the best time under our care. We need to know what makes him happy – treats and belly rubs etc. and what makes him unhappy – strangers, large dogs, loud noises etc. We’ll also discuss how we get access to your pet – will there be someone at home, will you give us a key or should we set up a lock box on your property where your key/remote is stored and never leaves your property.
Once we’ve all decided what is best for you and your pet, you’ll be able to book a walk by contacting us directly or booking via our website.
At the given time of your walk, the designated walker will send you a message, letting you know Rover is about to go all over. Again, once the walk has been completed. You may even receive a photo or two.
Walks take place in your neighbourhood, usually in the street. If there is a park in the area, we may explore that too. Your pet will always be on lead, even at the park.
Walks are 30 minutes. If your pet is a flat nosed breed – French bull dogs, English bull dogs, pugs etc or your pet has a special need, we walk at a slower pace to accommodate their needs.
Should the weather not be behaving (thunder storms, heavy rain etc.) we will reschedule the walk for the next available good weather time and advise accordingly.
If your dog is ill, please let us know so we can reschedule the walk when he is better.
Days and times
We only walk Rover all over during the working week. We do not walk Rover all over on weekends or public holidays.
From beginning September through to end February, we walk dogs from 07:00 to 10:00 and again from 16:00 to 19:00.
From beginning March through to end August, we walk dogs from 08:00 to 11:00 and again from 15:00 to 18:00.
We’ve set these times as in summer it can be extremely hot. Your dog might find it uncomfortable to walk during the hottest part of the day. Please contact us to discuss alternative days and times for us to walk your dogs.
